Re the green-ness of the grass, Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle for a reason. But even with England and Wales, one of the things I miss most now that I live in Canada is the shades of green in the UK. Canada’s greens are yellowy and washed out by comparison. The “green and pleasant land” in the English hymn, Jerusalem, is not just poetic licence.

Is there any way to sign up for future walks of this kind to participate or perhaps walk this one? I would be very interested in doing something like this and think I have a certain skill set that I could contribute exceptionally.
